  • Evening: Pithoragarh (Gorkha) Fort, Dev Singh Maidan, the local market and sunset over the Kumaon hills.
  • Kumaoni dinner at the hotel.

Pithoragarh to Munsiyari
  • After breakfast, drive towards Munsiyari (approx. 5–6 hours depending on road conditions and stops).
  • First glimpse of the Panchachuli range and sunset over the Kumaon Himalayas.
  • Short village walk, tea with mountain views and a bonfire, weather permitting.

  • Morning: wake early for Panchachuli views. Visit Panchachuli View Point, Nanda Devi Temple, Munsiyari village and local viewpoints.
  • Afternoon, option A: trek to Khaliya Top for panoramic Himalayan views.
  • Afternoon, option B: an easy day with a village walk, Tribal Heritage Museum, Darkot village, handicraft shopping and scenic cafés.

  • Start early after breakfast. This is a long transfer of approx. 7–8 hours, depending on route, road conditions and stops.
