Standing majestically on the very edge of Kaziranga National Park, Kaziranga Forest Bungalow represents the perfect blend of rustic charm and wilderness immersion. This eco-tourism jungle lodge offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the pristine Kaziranga landscape, home to the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceros and countless other species.

Established in 2011 as the first ecotourism resort directly adjacent to Kaziranga National Park, our bungalow sits just 300 meters from the park entrance and opposite the Range Office. With seven beautifully designed dwelling units, a well-stocked library, and a traditional dining hall, guests can enjoy the serenity of untouched nature while having modern comforts at hand. Far from the maddening crowd, the bungalow overlooks endless grasslands and wetlands where rhinos graze peacefully, offering an authentic Assamese wilderness experience that wildlife enthusiasts dream of.

How to Reach

By Air

Fly to Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, 215 km away. From there, hire a taxi or take a bus via Nagaon to reach Kaziranga. The scenic 4-hour drive passes through tea gardens and rural Assam.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Furkating (75 km), connected to major cities. Alternatively, take trains to Guwahati (217 km) or Jorhat (97 km). Pre-arranged transfers and local transport are available from all stations.

By Bus

Regular bus services operate from Guwahati, Jorhat, and other Assam cities to Bokakhat (nearest town). From Bokakhat, take local shared vehicles or taxis to reach the bungalow. Direct buses also available during peak season.

By Car

Drive via NH37 from Guwahati (4 hours) through beautiful Assamese countryside, tea estates, and traditional villages. The well-maintained highway offers a comfortable journey with multiple scenic stops en route.
